Open membership
The Network remains open to new Full Membership applications. Any organization may become a Full Member at any point, upon signing the Consortium Legal Agreement. Requests for Full Membership are welcomed on an ongoing basis.
Participation is open to any group that can submit to the study a minimum of 30 samples with their core phenotypic description.
Membership update (effective 2025)
As of 2025, the Network’s membership structure has been updated to reflect participation in the Consortium Legal Agreement.
Full Members (40 organizations)
Institutions/organizations that have signed the Consortium Legal Agreement. Full Members receive full access and benefits of the Network, including:
- Eligibility for network funding opportunities
- Frequent network updates
- Access to study protocols
- Eligibility to become Working Group Leaders
- Eligibility to serve on the Steering Committee
Associate Members (100 organizations)
Organizations that have not yet signed the Consortium Legal Agreement. Associate Members remain part of the Network and receive:
- Quarterly updates
- Participation as members of the community
However, Associate Members do not have access to network funding or study protocols and are not eligible to lead working groups or serve on the Steering Committee.
